Nothing makes me happier then when the first Sugar Snap Peas and Garden Peas start to ripen on the vine. I begin eating them almost as soon as the poor flower buds shed and their tiny green sails open expanding upon a sea of their own curly green foliage. There is no point in time while they are maturing that they are not just plain irresistible.
Two new additions that we are very excited about are Fava Beans and Black Beans. We have never grown drying beans before but on the road to sustainability these are an absolute staple.
